Day 29 of Poetry Month - April 2016
Another Robert Bateman poem.
Merganser Family in Hiding
For Robert
Among the spindle twigs,
advancing on old forgotten roots,
float a family. Lily pads,
Spiritually hand painted, reflecting
an omnipresent spring-like lustre;
a feathered audience retires.
